Today, TiVo® has announced that TiVo users now can stream their recorded content from their iOS devices to an Apple TV® via the AirPlay® feature. For the first time, TiVo users can access their recorded content on TV via a third party consumer electronics device, thereby giving TiVo users yet another ultra-convenient way to watch their favorite recorded shows. With the newest update of the TiVo iOS app, TiVo users now can play recorded content from their TiVo BOLT™, TiVo Roamio™ or TiVo Premiere DVR on Apple TV through iOS devices connected to the same in-home network. To launch a streaming session from the TiVo app, users simply need to enable the AirPlay feature through the iOS control center on their iOS device, select Apple TV from the menu, and toggle the mirroring button.
