Now That Breaking Bad is Over, What Will You Watch?
It was a bittersweet Sunday watching the series finale of Breaking Bad. But instead of wallowing in the loss (and giving away any spoilers for those of you who still have it waiting on your TiVo!), we are looking forward to the new Fall 2013 Sunday night lineup. So what will you be watching to fill the Breaking Bad void? In this post, we’ll show you a few of our Sunday night favorites, both old and new.
Homeland—Showtime 9 p.m.
For the past 2 seasons, emotional thriller Homeland has proven a constant source of excitement for viewers. Returning last week with its Season 3 premiere, it didn’t disappoint! Decorated war hero and American terrorist Nicholas Brody is still on the run. CIA officer Carrie Mathison, while struggling with her own demons, is at the heart of a dramatic Senate investigation. We don’t know about you, but after all the lies, mistrust and desire seen in the last 2 seasons, we can’t wait to see what unfolds next for Carrie and Brody!
Betrayal—ABC 10 p.m.
Premiering for the first time last week, Betrayal follows the beautiful but unhappy professional photographer, Sara Hanley, and powerful attorney, Jack McAllister. The two have instant chemistry and despite being married to other people, embark on a passionate love affair. Their relationship becomes even more convoluted when Jack begins defending a murder suspect who is being prosecuted by her husband.
The Good Wife—CBS 9 p.m.
Long time crowd-pleaser, The Good Wife came back last week with its Season 5 premiere. Trading in her previous role as the “good wife,” Alicia Florrick transforms herself from embarrassed wife of a corrupt and unfaithful politician to strong defense attorney. Will Alicia start her own firm with coworker Cary? We can’t wait to find out!
Don’t forget to set your Season Passes so you don’t miss any of the drama!
