TV This Week 9/10
MONDAY – “The New Normal” (Series Premiere) – 10PM – NBC
With this exclusive fall preview comes a heartwarming comedy from “Glee” & “Nip/Tuck” creator Ryan Murphy. “The New Normal” stars Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon) and Justin Bartha (The Hangover, National Treasure) as a couple that seeks a beautiful young woman to be their surrogate mother. Although this may sound like a concept that has been done before, we think that Ryan Murphy’s witty, writing style will offer a new twist and charming characters.
TUESDAY – “Sons of Anarchy” (Season Premiere) – 10PM – FX
This season will begin as usual with blood, violence, sex, and grunge. Viewers can expect new romances in Gemma’s life and a shattered Clay trying to restore his status in the “club,” as well as new characters. Catch up with the first three seasons on Netflix Instant; this is one hell of a ride.
WEDNESDAY – “The X Factor” (Season Premiere) – 8PM – FOX
If you haven’t tuned in already to watch “The X Factor,” tonight is the night to do so. With new judges Demi Lovato and Britney Spears, the competition will consist of only the best of the best. While we are excited to see these two new faces, we also can’t wait for the return of Simon Cowell’s harsh critiques. This is the first half of the two-night premiere.
THURSDAY – “Glee” (Season Premiere) – 8PM – FOX
With things seeming too perfect between Kurt and Blain, this season of Glee will revolve around the loss of innocence. The fourth season opener features guest star Kate Hudson as an elite NYC dance instructor who will push Rachel to her limit. The show is at a mature stage right now and will continue to push boundaries by addressing controversial topics.
