• Set up the antenna first, then set up your TiVo DVR

  These tips will help you test and improve your reception. Place the antenna outside, if you can. If transmission towers are in the same orientation, a directional antenna will work best. However, if transmission towers are in multiple directions, a multi-directional antenna will work best.
