March Mayhem 2015 – Top 10s

On Monday night, countless college basketball fans watched in either awe or horror as Duke put an end to the madness by defeating Wisconsin. Overall, this year’s men’s college basketball tournament was full of game-changing moments, a few upset victories and sheer dominance from top teams. The excitement of it all kept viewers glued to the screens of not only their televisions but also of their streaming mobile devices. TiVo Research comes in with the assist to share its insight into the top 10 moments of the last three games and the top 10 streamed games of this year’s tournament.

* TiVo Research’s March Mayhem analysis was prepared using aggregated, anonymous, second-by-second audience measurement data from a sample of ~350,000 anonymous households with the Emmy-award winning TiVo® service. TiVo Research gauges the interest in programming content by measuring the percentage of the TiVo audience watching in “play” speed. The most engaging ads are determined by looking for spots with the biggest bump in viewership relative to the surrounding 15 minutes of programming, offering a true reflection of change in viewership.
