The best device to binge-watch your favorite shows on, is looking to hold the binge-watching title!

At 7:00 PM PT on Monday, January 6th three contestants at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas will begin their attempt to break the Guinness Book World Record of 86 hours and 37 minutes (held by two Californians who watched consecutive episodes of FOX’s “The Simpsons” in 2012), by binge-viewing 87 hours of programing. The content for the TiVo TV Binge-Viewing World Record Attempt,* will be streamed straight from one of our very own TiVo Roamio boxes.

Television and radio host, and self-proclaimed “TV superfan,” Chris Cashman will serve as host and emcee of the TiVo TV Binge-Viewing World Record Attempt. Dozens of staff and volunteers will serve as official timekeepers and witnesses. During the TiVo TV Binge-Viewing World Record Attempt, each participant will get a five-minute break (for sleep, trips to bathroom, etc.) for every one hour of the attempt. The three participants are allowed to eat and drink while watching TV and can also change channels while looking at the screen, although talking on the telephone or reading is prohibited.

    This record attempt is horrible, this is a extreme health risk, sleep is nessecary for good health
