MONDAY – 2 Broke Girls – 9PM – CBS
Now in its second season, CBS’s sitcom, from the executive producer of Sex and the City and nominated for three 2012 Emmys, follows the unlikely friendship between, well, 2 broke girls trying to make it in NYC. Roommates Max and Caroline attempt to raise enough money to open a cupcake business in Williamsburg (Brooklyn). If you haven’t watched an episode yet, this might just be the perfect time – tonight’s episode is called “And the Cupcake Wars.”
TUESDAY – Presidential Debate – 9PM – All major networks
Election time is almost here, which means Obama and Romney have to bring their A-game to the table. CNN, MSNBC and Fox News will also be doing coverage all day and will replay the debates later in the night. After the chaos that ensued with Big Bird last week, we can’t wait to see what will be trending next.
WEDNESDAY – Modern Family – 9PM – ABC
Last week, we were spoiled with a two hour episode of Modern Family. While we are huge Modern Family fans, we have to admit that sometimes the show can be a little repetitive focusing on all of the characters’ quirks and roles…which is why we can’t wait for this week’s episode. Luke decides he wants to give up magic which Phil obviously refuses, Gloria suffers from pregnancy symptoms including snoring, and Mitch and Cam swap household duties.
THURSDAY – Two and Half Men – 8:30PM – CBS
The highly anticipated Miley Cyrus episode makes its premiere. Whether you hate or love her new hairstyle, it will definitely be interesting to see the former Disney Pop star on TV’s most popular sitcom. Who knows, she might even become a reoccurring character on the show.
FRIDAY – Nikita (Season Premiere) – 9PM – CW
Last May, Season 2 of Nikita had a seriously shocking finale. A major death set a new tone and story line for Season 3 which premieres this Friday. Nikita and Ryan are in charge of Division and one, maybe two, new romances will hopefully flourish. This first episode, we’ll see if Team Nikita is able to track down “the Dirty Thirty” rogue agents who did not return following the Division recall.
