MONDAY – How I Met Your Mother – 8PM – CBS
We knew that Ted and Victoria (cake girl from Season 1) would not last forever, which is why they have to be the next couple to break up. The creators of the show said that October would be “the month of break-ups,” which means that Robin has to be next. Meanwhile, Barney makes a dog his wingman in an effort to think of new ways to sleep with women. These are all fun things that the creators are doing, but audiences just want their answer to who the mother is already!
TUESDAY – Ellen Degeneres: The Mark Twain Prize – 8PM – PBS
The Kennedy Center honors one of the most innovative talents in show business, Ellen Degeneres, with this prestigious award. Speakers include Jane Lynch (Glee), Sean Hayes (Will and Grace), Jimmy Kimmel and many more. Degeneres is now on the 10th season of her syndicated show; her courage, persistence and admiration show that hard work and focus can make any dream come true.
WEDNESDAY – It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown – 8PM – ABC
No Halloween could be complete without watching the classic story of Charlie Brown making sure that the love of Halloween is spread everywhere. It’s excellent to see that this tradition of a classic TV episode special has not been broken.
THURSDAY – NBA Basketball – 7PM – TNT
Live from the all-new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the NBA finally makes its return. The Nets will have their first game of the season against the New York Knicks. Rasheed Wallace just got out of retirement and signed with The Knicks, with the real question being, can a team of new and fresh players conquer a legend? Make sure you tune in.
